Following on from our last email update sent to all members and the latest announcements from the Government we wanted to give you an update from the clubs point of view and its current actions.

We have seen a slightly reduced number of members attending the club and this is only to be expected in the circumstances. However, it is fair to say those that have come to the club have been very keen for the clubs to remain open.  

We have discussed the situation with the head office and the clubs position is as follows.

       We currently plan to remain open for as long as we are able and until if or when the Government directs us to close.

       During this time we will try and keep open as many facilities as possible although there may well have to be some operational changes.

Currently, these include:-

      Changes to table layouts in the bars.

      The closure of the Sauna, Steam and Spa area.

      The reduction of class sizes in the health club

      We are also discussing with the golfing committee's suggestions to adapt play to reduce any contact points

We are continuing to follow and monitor official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England carefully. It is of vital importance for us to be in a position to ensure that any and all procedures are in place to support the health and well-being of our customers and staff members.

To help combat the spread of COVID-19, we have been continuing with the safety measures in place, including:

Educating our staff on prevention

Emphasising frequent and proper handwashing

Cleaning high contact points more frequently

Providing hand sanitiser

We would like to add that if you or any cohabitants show ANY signs of the virus PLEASE do not visit the club and follow the advice and self-isolate.   

We will keep you updated on a regular basis should any of the advice or situation change.
